Things You Should Know About Faith Baptist Church
- We believe that the Bible is verbally inspired by God, therefore it is infallible and inerrant.
- We believe in the Virgin birth of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the Vicarious death of Jesus Christ on the cross for man's sin.
- We believe in the Victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- We believe in the Visible and imminent return of Jesus Christ.
- We believe in a literal Heaven where the saved shall live eternally and in a literal Hell where the lost shall be forever separated from God in torment.
- We believe that salvation is a gift from God based upon His grace and extended to those who will repent of sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

How can I Become a Christian?
Another way of asking this question is "How can I have a relationship and have eternal life with the God of creation?"
>A-Admit
Admit to God that you are a sinner.
Repent, turning away from your sin.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
wages = A paycheck, something earned. sin = Sin is choosing my way instead of God's way. Sin separates people from God. death = Eternal death, being separated from God for eternity. gift = A gift is free, you cannot work to get a gift.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Acts 3:19
repent = Turn from doing wrong and determine to do right.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
>B-Believe
Believe that Jesus is God's Son and accept God's gift of forgiveness from sin.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
>C-Confess
Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. For "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:9-10,13
saved = Saved from eternal damnation, spending eternity in hell separated from God.
If you believe this is true and wish to spend eternity with Jesus Christ then you can pray the following prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I am calling upon you now, and asking you to forgive me of all my sins and be my Savior and Lord. Thank you, dear God, for loving me and sending Jesus to die for me. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen."
