THANK YOU FOR PRAYING!
Triple Pray
Write down 3 lost friends, relatives, or others.
Find 2 others who will also pray for 3 people who need Jesus.
Agree to pray together as a group 3 times a week (in person at least once a week, the others times can be by 3-way calling, MSN messenger or chat room).
Let the Church Office know who you are praying for (first names only) and who you are partnered with. We may post the first names so others can pray for them. If you wish to keep a person's name private, then type "private" by that name. faithbaptist@yhti.net
10 groups would be praying for 90 people who have not accepted Jesus as their savior.
How to Pray for a Non-Christian
Remember two things:
Praying for a non Christian is a spiritual battle.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 NKJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:10-12 NKJV)
God’s desire is for them to be saved.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9 NKJV)
Four Ways to Pray:
Pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth.
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (II Corinthians 4:3-4 NKJV)
Pray that they will understand and receive the truth of God’s Word.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. ( I Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)
Pray for God to draw them close to himself.
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:44 NKJV)
Pray for the witness (the person sharing) to have the opportunity to speak the truth to them.
meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, (Colossians 4:3 NKJV)
